Update on Grocery Bag Holder….Just in Time for St. Patrick’s Day!

Last year I bought a cute 1/4 yard remnant of St. Patrick’s Day fabric. As the design print was not restricted to one dimension, I decided to cut it in half and serge it up on each side. Serged side seams I forgot to cut the handle strip off before cutting the piece in half, so I just cut a 2 inch strip off each section. I sewed the strips right sides together making sure to backstitch the ends and then pushed fabric through tube using a chopstick and pressed. I finished up the top and bottom of my holder using leftover pieces of elastic and attached the handle. Top and handle Bottom Although this method will not work for all fabric patterns, this turn out perfect! I now have another reason to buy more remnants!!!Shamrock Dog Grocery Holder
